Safer Sex Ball 2009

SAFER SEX BALL - UNIVERSITY OF EXETER - NOVEMBER 30TH 2009

2,000 Exeter University students get involved in this Over the Top, Outrageous and Unforgettable Event - The best Ball in Exeter.

But Lets focus on the real reason for this Ball - Raising money for Charity. We have currently raised over £25,000 for Charity for the last five years - including a local AIDS charity- and The SSB is the largest event of its kind outside London, and the biggest ball at Exeter University.

The date of the ball coincides with Worlds Aids Day. This international day began in London with the goal of increasing awareness about the virus and encouraging people to get involved in hopes of making a difference in the global fight against HIV and AIDS. Thus the aim of The Safer Sex Ball is a simple one - We want to raise our awareness about AIDS and Safer Sex by appealing to our Students in the best way we know how - by giving them a good time. The students have the best night of the year whilst we are able to raise awareness and money for Charity.

Previous Balls have included some fantastic acts such as Rachel Stevens,Edith Bowman, The Scratch Perverts and Block Party. But this year we want to make the the Ball the best yet - Vodka Luges a Chocolate Fountain and an Oxygen Bar are just some of the exciting extras we hope to give our guests this year!

We even have the brilliant Just Jack DJ'ing

And Radio One's amazing JAGUAR SKILLS
